ABOUT THE CO-FOUNDER
CATHY COFIELD
I clearly heard God's calling as a teenager and was baptized shortly thereafter. I also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the 1990's. I met my husband Ken Cofield in September 2010, for a birthday lunch. We were married January 2012. I remember when Ken and I both worked full-time jobs back in 2014, and we still went to several prisons each weekend to share God's love with the incarcerated. From the east coast to the west coast and south Florida we were in prison ministering.
In 2005 I attended a ministry called Rebuild, and a year later I became a facilitator. I also attended with my husband, Ken, Christian discipleship classes under a ministry called Christian Healing Ministries where he also worked.
Ken and I went to minister at Sumter Correctional in 2014 as our first prison ministry event which began our volunteer service in the prisons.
Save A Man Ministries was born in 2017 and incorporated as a non-profit organization. We became affiliated with the House of Hope Transition House in 2019 where Ken became the director, and we taught men and women God's Word. My husband Ken passed away April 2021.
I heard the Lord Jesus Christ call me to pick up the mantle of our ministry and run with it. It has been a rewarding mission for when one soul repents and turns to Christ, a life has been radically saved and changed.
In 2023 we implemented a new program at Lowell Correctional for Ladies. With God all things are possible! Please remember Save A Man Ministry along with our Lady Lifer program in your prayers!
